Charlotte Williams, the founder of SevenSix Agency, is one of the UK's rising talents in pushing the envelope for true representation within advertising and brand culture.
Having established her expertise and harnessed her skills through the years, initially starting her career within digital-based education, Charlotte then went on to become the European Digital Marketing Manager for Japanese based consumer brands company, Sanrio, spearheading strategies for global brand, Hello Kitty. It was from here that she joined beauty and tech entrepreneur, Sharmadean Reid to lead the Events and Marketing departments for WAH Nails, whilst also working freelance with other high profile brands such as allplants, Boucleme, Beautystack, Label/Mix, PROPERCORN, Shopstyle and WWF.
Whilst pursuing traditional career routes, Charlotte also began establishing her own personal brand platforms on social media with a burgeoning following that leant into her sartorial content paired with insights into brand marketing and development.
Having had the benefit of working on both sides of the fence, one within digital marketing and the other as a traditional influencer as a woman of colour, Charlotte was able to glean a
valuable perspective pertaining to the gap often felt when it came to representation from brands. Charlotte understood that it would take a nuanced lens to advocate and implement true change within her industry and it was her drive to address the issue that inspired her to launch SevenSix Agency in 2019 as a response to the glaring and overwhelming need for more diversity within the advertising and marketing industries.
Charlotte is fast becoming a go-to voice for brands wanting consultancy on inclusive marketing strategies and regularly works with platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, alongside sitting on roundtables and panels with advertising industry figureheads such as the ASA and Advertising Association. Today, SevenSix specialises in creating unique brand marketing strategies that cut a bit deeper, providing layered and thoughtful campaigns for today’s discerning audience.
The agency runs influencer partnerships and management division with a sole goal of amplifying the visibility and work of some of the globe’s most exciting yet overlooked content creators and their unique perspectives.
Charlotte has an aim to challenge the norm and make sure people of colour have a seat at the table, and are fully represented for their efforts and contributions. With sustainability and ethical practices also poignant areas of concern and action for her, Charlotte is also the co-founder of Sustainably Influenced, a podcast focused on conversations around ethical practices for consumers and businesses alike.
